My Story

From Rock Bottom to Shred To Curves: My 77-Pound Weight Loss Journey

Ever heard the saying, "Disappear for a while, transform your mind, your body, and your habits"? Well, I guess I did just that. But it wasn’t easy. It all began when I fell into a deep depression. Binge eating had always been a coping mechanism, but things spiraled out of control. I gained 50 pounds in less than three months due to hormonal imbalance and unhealthy habits. The weight gain brought more than just physical changes—it triggered breakouts, crushed my self-esteem, and left me stuck in a cycle of shame, isolation, and self-destruction.

I hit rock bottom.

Looking in the mirror became unbearable. I knew something had to change. So, I made a decision that would redefine my life. I picked myself up and started showing up—sometimes six days a week. I tried everything: boxing, dance classes, swimming for cardio, self-defense, and every diet you can imagine.

When COVID hit, I quit the gym but didn’t quit on myself. Instead, I turned my home into my fitness haven. I researched endlessly (more than I’d ever researched anything in my life), tested different methods, and committed to insane discipline and consistency. Trial and error became my teacher, and through it all, I finally found what worked for me.

Fitness didn’t just change my body; it changed my life. It became my safe space and my happy place.

And now, I’m excited to share that journey with the world through my fitness brand, Shred To Curves!

This isn’t just about weight loss. It’s about rediscovering yourself, building confidence, and finding a sustainable way to lead a healthy life. I’ve been there, and I know the struggles, the self-doubt, and the hurdles. But I also know the freedom, strength, and joy that come with taking back control of your life.

Through Shred To Curves, I’ll be sharing everything that helped me—fitness routines for home, the gym, or anywhere, lifestyle tips, and strategies for balancing health with a busy life. Look out for one-on-one sessions, bootcamp challenges, outdoor community workouts, and so much more!

If you’ve ever felt like I did—lost, ashamed, or stuck—I want you to know that transformation is possible.
